Behaviour

Click, focus and scroll heatmaps, masked session recordings with a keyboard player, frustration signals, Web Vitals by page and JavaScript errors.

Updated:

Heatmaps

Layers: clicks, keyboard focus, scroll depth, attention (time an area is in view) and rage and dead clicks. They are summed per page template and device (desktop, tablet, mobile) and drawn over the page screenshot from the latest scan; when the scanner has none, a fresh screenshot is taken. You can compare two periods, for example before and after a fix. Every layer also has a table.

The focus map shows how far people get with Tab, without being tied to a person. Heatmaps need analytics consent and the behaviour module; their points do not count against your event quota.

Session recordings

  • Recorded with rrweb only after consent to “recordings”, for a share of sessions (20 % by default) and up to the daily and monthly limits of your plan.
  • All text and all fields are masked in the browser; see Privacy and data.
  • Pages such as the payment step and the account can be excluded; checkout is recorded with masking.
  • Kept for 30 days by default, in Hetzner Object Storage in Germany, opened through signed links valid for 10 minutes and only for your team.

The list of recordings filters by page, barrier, event, frustration, country, device, source and duration. It never filters by input method or display preferences. Worth watching picks recordings with barriers, rage clicks and errors. Recordings can be put into playlists.

The player

  • Fully usable with the keyboard: play and pause, back and forward, speed, skipping idle time.
  • The timeline marks barrier signals (“focus got stuck here”, “form error”) and frustration; a barrier links to its problem card.
  • A frame shows the visitor's keyboard focus.
  • Notes on a moment and a link to the moment for your team.

Frustration

Rage, dead and error clicks, quick returns, excessive scrolling, JavaScript errors grouped by message and abandoned forms by their last field (never the value), per page, with a jump to the recordings.

Speed

Web Vitals per page and device at the 75th percentile: LCP, INP, CLS, FCP and TTFB, with the elements behind LCP, INP and CLS, next to the conversion of those pages.

JavaScript errors

Errors grouped by message, with stacks cleaned of URLs and personal data, the pages and browsers where they happen and the clicks that came before them.

The Pandus SDK and the scanner are automated checks, not a full audit, and not legal advice. The SDK changes nothing on your site and does not determine which visitors use assistive technology.
