Accessibility information page and "Report a barrier" form for any website

Updated October 12, 2026 · 3 min read

One line of code adds two things the European Accessibility Act expects from online shops and other consumer services: an accessibility information page (Article 13 and Annex V) and a way for customers to report an accessibility barrier. It works on Wix, Shopify, Tilda, Webflow, Squarespace and hand-made sites — anywhere you can paste a script.

What you get

  • A "Report a barrier" button in a corner of the page, or two links in your footer if you prefer no button. It opens an accessible form: keyboard and screen reader friendly, closes with Escape, returns the focus.
  • An accessibility information page hosted by Pandus: your description of the service, its accessibility features, contacts and the supervisory authority, plus the known limitations from the latest automated check, updated every week.
  • Reports in one place: each report reaches you by e-mail and appears in your Pandus account.
  • Seven languages: the form and the page in English, Ukrainian, German, Polish, Czech, Romanian or Russian.

How to add it

  1. Add your site in Pandus (a free account is enough to start).
  2. Open the site in your account, find the block Code for any site and fill in the text of the accessibility information page.
  3. Choose the language and the button position, click Copy the code and paste it before the closing </body> tag of your site.
Platform Where to paste the code
Wix Settings → Custom code → Add custom code, "Body - end", all pages
Shopify Online Store → Themes → Edit code → theme.liquid, before </body>
Tilda Site settings → More → HTML code for the HEAD or an HTML block (T123) on each page
Webflow Site settings → Custom code → Footer code
Squarespace Settings → Advanced → Code injection → Footer
Any other site Before </body> in your page template

On WordPress and WooCommerce, use the WordPress plugin instead: it also shows the problems next to each page and suggests fixes.

Why a barrier form and an accessibility page

Since 28 June 2025 the EAA applies to online shops and other consumer services in the EU, except micro-enterprises. Providers must publish information on how their service meets the accessibility requirements, and customers need a way to tell you when something does not work for them. National laws, such as the German BFSG, repeat these duties. See our guide to the accessibility information and check whether the EAA applies to you.

What it does not do

The script is not an overlay: it does not change your site, add toolbars or claim to fix anything. It does not make a site accessible or confirm that it meets the EAA or any other law. Problems are fixed in your theme and content; Pandus finds them each week and explains how to fix them.
