The accessibility information page: answer the questions, get a draft
Updated October 14, 2026
Why this page
The European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882, Article 13 and Annex V) asks providers of services for consumers, such as online shops, to describe how their service meets the accessibility requirements. National laws, for example the German BFSG, repeat this. The law does not cover every business: consumer services of certain sectors are covered, and micro-enterprises that provide services are exempt. The short test helps you see where you stand. If it does not apply to you, such a page is still good practice.
Fill in the questionnaire
- Open the site in your account and find the block Code for any site: Wix, Tilda, Shopify, Webflow and others.
- Open the tab Accessibility page.
- Fill in the Company name, What the service is, the Accessibility features (one per line), your own known limitations (optional), the Current state, the Contact e-mail and, if you know it, the Supervisory authority. You can also choose the standard (EN 301 549 with WCAG 2.2 AA or with WCAG 2.1 AA) and a planned date for fixes.
Save, then use Open the accessibility information page to see the result. The page is kept on our servers, and the known limitations are filled in from your latest automated check, with its date, and updated after each check.
Where the page appears
The code for other platforms adds a link to this page and a "Report a barrier" form. On WordPress, the plugin creates a draft page with a shortcode from the details you enter there. If you only need a one-off text, the free statement generator gives a draft in seven languages as HTML or plain text.
What it is not
This is a draft built from your answers. Write only what is true: a short honest text is better than a long list of features you do not have. The automated check does not prove that the service meets the EAA or any other law. Have a lawyer review the text before you publish it. It is not legal advice.
