Accessibility statement

We sell accessibility checks, so our own website, customer app and reports must be usable by everyone. Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA for the public site and the customer app. This statement explains how we test, what we know does not yet work well, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Our target

  • WCAG 2.2, level AA, which corresponds to the web requirements of EN 301 549.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 in both the light and the dark theme.
  • Full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator.
  • Respect for the "reduce motion" setting of your operating system.
  • Content in several languages, each page marked with its language.

How we test

  • Automated tests on every change. Our build runs axe-core through Playwright on every page of the site and app. A change with a serious or critical violation cannot be released.
  • Keyboard testing of key flows: navigation, the free check, sign-up, sign-in and the report view.
  • Zoom and reflow checks at 200% and on narrow mobile screens.

Automated tests find only part of the possible issues, so we combine them with manual checks. This is the same message we give our customers.

Known limitations

  • Screen reader testing. We have not yet completed a full manual review of every page with screen readers such as NVDA and VoiceOver. It is planned; until then, some issues may only be found by your feedback.
  • Machine-translated text. Some content in some languages is machine-translated and marked for review by a native speaker; wording may be less clear until then.
  • Bot protection. The free check uses a third-party bot challenge. If it blocks you, contact us and we will run the check for you.
  • PDF reports. We aim for tagged, accessible PDFs, but complex tables in the developer appendix may be harder to navigate with a screen reader. The same report is always available as an HTML page.
  • Charts. Trend charts are accompanied by the same data in text or table form.

If you find something not listed here, we want to know.

About our scans and reports

This statement covers our own website and app. The scans and reports we provide to customers are an automated check, not a full audit, and not legal advice; they do not certify any customer site.

Feedback and contact

Tell us about any barrier using the contact page. Please mention the page address and what happened. We reply within two working days and, where we cannot fix something quickly, we will offer you the information in another way.
