Invite colleagues and choose their roles

Updated October 14, 2026

Roles

Every member of a team has one role:

  • Owner: the person who created the team. Manages everything, including the plan and payment.
  • Admin: manages the team, the brand, the API and the plan and payment, and also works with sites.
  • Member: adds and changes sites, starts checks, creates links for clients and works with reports. Cannot change the team, the brand, the API or payment.
  • Viewer: only reads sites, reports and checks.

The owner keeps the role, and nobody can change their own role, so a team is never locked out by accident.

Invite a colleague

  1. Open Team. Owners and admins see the form Invite a colleague.
  2. Enter the e-mail address and choose the Role: Admin, Member or Viewer.
  3. Click Send the invitation.

The person signs in, or registers, with the same e-mail address that you invited and accepts the invitation. Until then it is listed under Invitations with its expiry date, and you can cancel it.

How many people a team can have depends on the plan. The page shows Seats used and the limit. See the pricing page for the numbers of each plan.

Change a role or remove a member

In the list of Members an owner or admin can change a role from the drop-down in the row, or remove a member with Remove. A removed person loses access to the team's sites and reports at once.

Who gets report e-mails

Each member has a Report e-mails switch in the same list, so a developer can stay informed while an accountant gets nothing. A member can leave a team on their own with Leave the team; the owner cannot.
