Export the problems and compare two checks

Updated October 14, 2026

Where to find the tools

Open a finished report. Under it is the block Tools for this check with three parts: Export the problems, Compare checks and the ACR draft.

Export the problems

Exports are included in paid plans. Choose the format that fits your developers:

  • CSV: every element with its page, rule and WCAG criterion, for a spreadsheet.
  • JSON: for scripts and your own tools.
  • GitHub issues: a Markdown file with one issue per problem, with the pages, the elements and the fix.
  • Jira import: a CSV for the Jira importer, one task per problem, with the priority set from the severity.

The files follow the language of the report. In the GitHub and Jira files up to 50 elements are listed per problem and the rest are counted, so an issue stays readable. The file is built from the stored check on our server and nothing is sent anywhere until you download it.

Compare two checks

After the second check of a site you can open Fixed, new and still open. Choose an Earlier check and a Later check; they must be two different checks. For each problem the page shows whether it is fixed, new or still open, with the number of elements. Use it to confirm that a release fixed what it should, and to see which problems a new release brought.

Only the checks inside the history of your plan are listed. The latest check of a site is always available. A link at the bottom opens the report of the later check.

Tips

  • Export after the weekly check, not before, so the developer works from the latest data.
  • Do not edit the exported file by hand if you plan to import it again; fix the code and run the next check instead.
