Weekly checks and alerts by e-mail and Telegram

Updated October 14, 2026

Weekly checks

On paid plans every site is checked again every week, automatically. The site page shows the date of the next check. New problems usually appear after a site update, a new plugin or a new template, and the weekly check catches them without anyone remembering to run it.

You can start an extra check at any time with Check now on the site page, within the limits of your plan. To stop the weekly checks for a while, open Site settings and switch on Pause scheduled checks. Switch it off to continue.

Report by e-mail

After each check the report goes by e-mail, with the PDF attached. When new problems appeared, the subject says so. The report goes to:

  • the team members who keep Report e-mails on (owners and admins change this on the Team page, under Notifications);
  • one extra address, for example your client's. Enter it under Extra address on the same page.

The e-mail is in the language you chose for the report.

Alerts in Telegram

Telegram is a quicker way to hear about new problems. On the Team page, find the Telegram block and click Connect Telegram. Choose My chat or A group (for example with a client), then press Start in Telegram. The link works once and expires after 30 minutes.

For each connected chat you choose what it receives:

  • new problems after a check;
  • every finished check, even when nothing new appeared;
  • barrier reports sent by your visitors through the WordPress plugin or the code for other sites.

Messages contain the site name, the numbers of the check and a link to your account. Send /stop to the bot to turn the messages off. Telegram is a third-party service, so connect only chats where this information may be shared.
