Weekly WCAG 2.2 AA checks, problems next to each page and product, an accessibility information page and a barrier report form. No overlay.

== Description ==

Pandus checks every page of your site against the WCAG 2.2 AA criteria that can be tested automatically, each week, and explains every problem in plain language with steps for WordPress and WooCommerce.

* **Problems where you work:** a dashboard widget with what to fix first, and a box next to the editor of each page, post and product with the problems found on that page.
* **Check after changes:** a new check starts automatically a few minutes after you switch the theme or update themes and plugins.
* **Accessibility information page:** the European Accessibility Act asks services to describe how they meet the accessibility requirements. The plugin creates a draft page from your own text and adds the known limitations found by the latest check. Have it reviewed before you rely on it.
* **"Report a barrier" form:** visitors can tell you what they cannot use; the report reaches you by e-mail and in your Pandus account.
* **Suggested fixes:** image descriptions (alt text) with a suggestion from the product or file name that you check and save to the media library and to pages that already use the images, and opt-in theme fixes on the server: allow zooming on phones, a "Skip to content" link, a visible keyboard focus, underlined links in text.
* **No overlay:** the plugin does not inject widgets or change how your site looks or works. It shows what to fix in your theme and content.

Pandus is an automated check, not a full audit, and not legal advice. Automated tests find part of the accessibility problems; some need a manual review.

The free Pandus plan includes one site and a check of its home page; paid plans check every page weekly. See https://pandus.online/en/pricing.

== External service ==

This plugin connects to the Pandus service (https://pandus.online), operated by the Pandus team, to:

* run the accessibility checks of your public pages and read their results;
* send reports from the "Report a barrier" form (the message, the page address and, only with the visitor's consent, their name and e-mail).

Data is hosted in the European Union. Terms: https://pandus.online/en/legal/terms — Privacy policy: https://pandus.online/en/legal/privacy

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does the plugin make my site accessible? =

No plugin can do that by itself. Pandus finds problems that automated tests can detect and explains how to fix them in your theme and content.

= Does it slow down my site? =

No. The checks run on Pandus servers. On the public site the plugin only adds the information page and the form where you place them.

= Which shortcodes are there? =

`[pandus_accessibility_statement]` — the accessibility information. `[pandus_report_barrier]` — the "Report a barrier" form.
